UK rebuild engine

    I've decided to go with a UK rebuild from Chambers Rotary Specialist.
    Although it says 12 months 10,000miles warranty in the notes below, by addressing some of the known issues at the same time such as replacing the ignition coils (having D585 ignition coils) and installing the SORN Oil kit I was able to get a 3 year 30,000miles warranty (provided I do the recommended oil change etc and not use it on the track etc).
    My main reason for choosing this tuner garage was because I could almost always get the shop owner on the phone and discuss things with him.

    Liest sich alles schön, nur leider wird der schlussendlich gelieferte Motor nur mit Glück die versprochenen 10.000 Meilen halten, wenn die Kompression nach 'frischem Rebuild' auf keinem Rotor über 99 PSI liegt :thumbdown: Und das von den restlichen Gegebenheiten mal abgesehen...
    Für mich war der Shop das erste und letzte Mail...

    Geht mir genauso.
    Der Herr war eine furchtbare Erfahrung für mich. Äußerst entgegenkommend und kommunikativ, solange ich noch nicht bezahlt hatte. Von dem Moment, wo er mein Geld hatte, habe ich nur genau ein einziges mal von ihm gehört. Der Motor kam mit einer Verspätung von knapp 2 Monaten und nichts von dem, was versprochen war, wurde gehalten. Es haben sogar Sonderteile gefehlt, die ich per Rechnung mitgekauft hatte! Er hat nie wieder auf irgendeine Form der Kontaktaufnahme durch mich reagiert.
    So weit läuft immerhin der Motor recht sauber. Habe jetzt knapp über 3t km drauf und werde demnächst Kompression messen lassen.

    2) Betrug durch CR von einem Franzosen welche einen neu aufgebauten Motor bestellte jedoch lediglich einen frisch gespritzten aber von innen altes/mindestens 100.000 km Laufleistung Exemplar bekam.........(Google Übersetzung von Fr. auf Engl.)
